Expo

21th century is time of technology , improvement , communications , IT & compare . in this century because of IT & really fast communications everybody can easily compare everything that they want with it's type .
But how can we compare a countrie's marketing power & it's level ?
French people made the first basics of this question's answer in 1844 held by French Industrial Exhibition in Paris . nowadays these exhibitions are known as Expo & each several years it will held in one country & also under supervising of International Exhibitions Bureau(Le Bureau international des expositions ).
The last one were in China , Shanghai , 2010 . Many countries tried to show their abilities in industry , economy , technology , society & marketing .
The expo is a group of trade fairs that shows how much a country is powerful in industry , technology & marketing . You can recognize the quality of three subjects that I told you for each country in their trade fairs . for example one of the most famous trade fairs is placed in Hanover , Germany .
For Iranian people the problems start from the beginning . Tehran as a metropolis has one place for trade fair but some of the trade fair held in Mossalla without any quality .
By all of these information I'm trying to show one of the main reason that makes our marketing river stop is proletarian trade fairs .

TED

TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with two annual conferences -- the TED Conference in Long Beach and Palm Springs each spring, and the TEDGlobal conference in Oxford UK each summer.

I love TED talks, they're inspiring and give you a lot of new ideas plus in TED site you can download TED-talks and watch them whenever you want(That's what I do in my spare time). I always thought to myself that why we don't have such conference in Iran; It'll be fun and successful.

Fun

It's half past seven PM & you are trying to find a place in less than 5 minutes to have fun but when you start to thinking about that you will realise that it is very hard to offer a good new place to your friends . As Philip Kotler said : need is Feeling of deprivation , usually in capital cities like Tehran there is enough supply for recreation needs but in order to aware the customers there is not enough ads . you can not have fast access to this sort of information (what kind of recreations & where ) of course I should mention that if your recreation is eating there is enough information .
Now imagine that you can have the information that I told you above in your mobile through a program or even in a magazine that provide this opportunities for you as a costumer to have information & for supplier of recreation to advertise easily .

I always complain about Iranian car manufacturers and never will stop, because they can be good but it seems to me they don't want to. In any field they can excel but because of very unknown reasons they won't (at least not till now). Iran and south Korea started at the same time to produce cars, we are way behind Korean automakers and we even envy Malaysian automaker(proton) and all of the Chinese one (which started long years after us). I mean till when we have to import or produce!!!!(CKD) Korean car, Malaysian or Chinese car or rubbish European cars like Renault L90 or originally Dacia Logan.

Anyway these two clips are another example of these differences. These two clips are the advertising(informational) clip of SUV s. The first one is for Porsche Cayenne Models and the second one is for IKCO Suzuki grand vitara!!!!! See the difference even in making a good clip. (Come on IKCO, It's not a complicated car, it's just a clip that need a focus group and a little bit thinking)

Fruit or Juice

Which business could be more profitable? Establish a juice factory, importing fruit or importing juice?

For answering this question, following informations and stats have to be considered:

The head of iranian manufacturer juice syndic said: "consumption per capita fruit in Iran is 5 times more than the whole world; on the contrary consumption per capita of juice is 1/5 of the world."

If we want to decide with just that information; it seems investing on fruit is much better, but that's not all. According to official statistics, consumption of juice was increasing in last 5 years and it seems this process will continue in the future so a gap would be done between production (even if we add the products of factories under construction) and consumption. This gap would be filled by importing; on the other hand consumption of fruit was increasing slowly and importing fruit was increasing and would be increasing very fast. So some of the domestically produced fruits remain in the market.

Now we can make a result: if you establish a juice factory you can achieve your material cheaper than something were assumed and you have got a big market that's not saturated, but if you want to import juice, you would be dealing with some rules that would be changing every day like import tariffs or even import bans.

How about fruit? In importing fruit you've got lots of competitors and a saturation market.

Now decision is with you, choose every thing that you think is the best.
